Kipchoge " Kip " Keino ( born January 17, 1940 in Kipsamo, Kenya ) is a former Kenyan athlete. Keino comes from the ethnicity of Nandi.

Keino is one of the most famous Kenyan middle and long distance runner and has among numerous other achievements won two Olympic gold medals. Career
