Koziatyn

Kosjatyn (Ukrainian Козятин; Russian Казатин / Kasatin ) is a city in Ukraine with 26,635 inhabitants ( 2001). It is an important railway junction, next to the city has a significant food industry ( here under meat and meat products, and beverage and bread manufacturing).

History

The first written mention of the town dates from 1734, in 1938 he was elevated to the rank of a city.

To date, the major industry of the city is the railway: Kosjatyn is an important railway junction. These arrangements also contributed Depot Founded in 1871 by brothers Waldajew for wagons.
