Lypovets
Lypowez (Ukrainian Липовець; Russian Липовец / Lipowez, Polish Łypowiec ) is a city in Ukraine with about 9,000 inhabitants. It is the administrative center of Rajons Lypowez, located in the northeastern part of the Vinnytsia Oblast on the river Sob.
History
The first written mention of the town dates from 1545, 1925, he was elevated to an urban-type settlement, on 13 September 2001 Lypowez was awarded city status ( under Rajonsverwaltung ).
