The La Trobe University is a university in Melbourne in the Australian state of Victoria.
La Trobe which was founded in 1967 as the third university in Victoria; It is named after the first Governor of Victoria, Charles La Trobe. In addition to the main site in Bundoora, a suburb of Melbourne, there are locations in the twin cities of Albury - Wodonga, Beechworth, Bendigo, Mildura, Melbourne City and Shepparton.
