Lažánky (Strakonice District)

Lažánky ( German Laschanek, 1939-1945 Klein Laschan ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located five kilometers south-west of Blatná in South Bohemia and belongs to Okres Strakonice.

Geography

Lažánky located in the hills Blatenská pahorkatina on a hill between the rivers Záborský creek and Blatenka. The scale than Rundling village is surrounded by numerous ponds, of which the Velka Kus Kus Mala, the Nadýmač, the Stary fishpond, the Nové Lažánky and Velky Ostry rybnik are greatest. To the south rises the Holý vrch ( 571 m).

Neighboring towns are Mračov, Lomec and Ostry in the north, Lhotka and Blatenka in the northeast, Mačkov, Jindřichovice and Rosice in the east, Čekanice, Samota, Chválov and Milčice the southeast, Bratronice in the south, Záboří and Čečelovice the southwest, Lnářský Málkov in the west and Kadov, and Vrbno Pod Kusi in the northwest.

History

The town originated as Rodesiedlung is surrounded by forest, the place name is derived from the Laßraum. In 1228 the estate was Záboří as possession of the monastery of St. George at Prague Castle. This sold it because of the great distance to a 1305 Kolda. Since Lažánky was not mentioned, it is likely that the village has not passed at that time.

The first mention of Lažánky was only in the year 1405th In the 15th century the estate Záboří was connected to the Fixed Kadow. In the second half of the 16th century, the captain of the circle of Prachin Johann the Elder acquired. Hořitzky of Prosty, who was also the owner of the goods Bratronice, poles and Bezdiekau, Kadow and Záboří. In 1636 was in Záboří a schoolhouse for parishioners villages. The subsequent owners belonged 1636-1649 Abrecht Beneda of nectin. This put his wife Anna Maria nee Wratislaw of Mitrowitz and the sons of Nicholas Aletsch of Zrzawa jointly as heirs in. These Záboří parted again Kadov from and sold the property with the mills Kus, Blatenka and Lhotka on May 19, 1662 Aletsch Ferdinand Wratislaw of Mitrowitz who joined it to his rule Schlüsselburg. With the introduction of house numbers in 1770 houses were counted in the 16. In 1840 Laschanek / Lažanek consisted of 23 houses with 155 inhabitants. Parish and school location was Zabór. The village was completely enclosed until the beginning of the 19th century through the woods and had very little agricultural land. Until the mid-19th century Laschanek remained the rule Schlüsselburg submissive.

After the abolition of patrimonial Lažánky / Laschanek formed in 1850 a municipality in the district administration and the judicial district of the Blatná. The volunteer fire department was founded, 1888. Lažánky in 1910 consisted of 36 houses, where about 200 people lived. After the abolition of Okres Blatná the community in 1960 associated with the Okres Strakonice. 1961 Lažánky was incorporated into Blatenka. As part of the dissolution of the community Blatenka Lažánky was umgemeindet after Záboří on 1 April 1976. After a referendum Lažánky broke on November 24 again in 1990 by Záboří off and formed its own community. Lažánky today consists of 84 houses. The largest operation is the agricultural cooperative.
