Lee Roy Jordan (* April 27, 1941 in Excel, Alabama, United States), nicknamed " Killer" is a former American football player in the National Football League ( NFL). He played as a linebacker for the Dallas Cowboys.

Playing career

College career

Jordan played American football at the high school of his native town. He studied from 1960 to 1962 at the University of Alabama, where he was also active as a football player and played on the position of a center. Coach of the team his college was Bear Bryant, one of the most successful coaches in college football. 1960 Jordan was named the MVP of the game in his rookie year after the Bowl game of his team.
