Leporano

Leoporano is a southern Italian town with 7873 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in Puglia in the ( province of Taranto ).

Geographical Location

The port city is located on the southeast peninsula Leporano Salento about 440 km from Rome and 627 km from Florence. The coat of arms of the city puts a red rabbit is on a blue shield, which is surrounded at the base of a green laurel wreath and surmounted by a ducal crown.

History
