Lincoln County is a county located in the state of Montana in the United States. The the county seat ( county seat ) is located in Libby.

Demographic data

According to the census of 2000, there were 18,837 people in the county. There were 7,764 households and 5,333 families. The population density was 2 people per square kilometer. The racial the population was composed of 96.09 % White, 0.11 % African American, 1.20 % Native American, 0.31 % Asian, 0.04 % Pacific Islander residents from the and 0.39 % from other races groups; 1.86% were descended from two or more races. 1.44 % of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
