Lubine

Lubine is a commune of 235 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Vosges in the Lorraine region. It belongs to the district of Saint- Dié -des-Vosges, the Canton PROVENCHERES -sur- Fave and community association Fave.

Geography

The municipality is situated on the Lubine headwaters of the river Fave at an altitude 448-851 m above sea level. The municipality covers 14.85 km ². Lubine is the western valley station of the 602 m high Col d' Urbeis that leads into the adjacent region of Alsace (municipality Urbeis ). The municipality is part of the Regional Natural Park of Ballons des Vosges.

The transit serve the department D23 road and the railway line Strasbourg -Saint -Dié -des-Vosges, which is traversed by the French transport company TER Alsace ( station Colroy Lubine Colroy -la- Grande).
