Max Hürzeler

Max Hürzeler ( born July 4, 1954 in Dübendorf ) is a retired Swiss cyclist, today's book author and entrepreneur.

In 1975, Max Hürzeler fourth at the Swiss road Amateur Championship; In 1981, he finished in third place at the World Championships of Amateur Stayers. He then became a professional. Three times - 1983, 1986 and 1987 - he was ( unofficial ) stayer European champions. At the World Championships he won in 1984 the title of Vice - World Champion and 1987 World Champion. Overall, he won eight times the Swiss Championship of the uprights.

After his cycling career in 1989 founded the company Max Hürzeler Bicycle Holidays Max Hürzeler, the established cycling tourism with bike stations on Mallorca. Also in Andalusia and in the Zillertal his company is represented with bike stations. He has since sold the company. He has the Zurich Six Days reinitiated by assumed financial responsibility.
