Mercedes- Benz Type 630 (1927)

The 24/100/140 hp Mercedes is a car of Daimler -Motoren-Gesellschaft (DMG ), Stuttgart -Untertürkheim. After the departure of Paul Daimler developed from April 1923, the new DMG chief engineer Ferdinand Porsche the car, which came to market in 1924. In 1926 the model in the Mercedes- Benz Type 630 was renamed.

Parallel to the Type 630, the Mercedes- Benz Model K appeared with the same engine on a shortened chassis (3400 mm instead of 3750 mm wheelbase). It was available as a four-door four-seater sports or two-door roadster. On the right engine cowling had the car three guided to the outside metal hoses for discharging the exhaust gases. Mercedes- Benz Model K ( 24/110/160 hp, 1928-1929 )

Beginning in 1928, the Model K was fitted with a more powerful engine. It delivers on the same engine 110 hp (81 kW) in suction and 160 hp ( 118 kW) supercharged. The performance did not change.

1930, the sedans was replaced by the Type 770, the sports car by the SS and SSK models.
