Mestrino

Mestrino is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 11,042 inhabitants (as of 31 December 2012) in the Province of Padua in Veneto. The community is located about 10 kilometers northwest from the city center of Padua on Medoacus, a tributary of the River Brenta. Mestrino is immediately adjacent to the province of Vicenza.

Traffic

Passing through the municipality, the former Strada Statale 11 Padana Superiore, which is now downgraded to regional road, coming from Vicenza to Padua. A section of the Autostrada A4 (Turin -Trieste ) also runs through the town, it is, however, no connection. On the railway line Milano - Venezia, there is a train station.
