Geography

Geographical Location

The municipality belongs to the administrative community Riechheimer mountain. The administrative headquarters are in the town of Kirchheim. Osthausen is located about 14 kilometers east of Arnstadt and 20 kilometers south of Erfurt. About ten kilometers north of the village held A 4 and about six kilometers west of the A71, which can be reached via the connection Arnstadt -south.
