Climate

Palagruža has an unusual for Croatia climate due to its maritime location. It is not a typical Mediterranean climate, but rather because of its subtropical mild winter and hot summer. The climate and vegetation are similar to those of the south of the island of Crete, Gibraltar and even parts of North Africa. Therefore, the flora differs from that in the rest of Dalmatia.
