Patrick Köppchen

Patrick Köppchen ( born June 21, 1980 in Berlin ) is a German professional ice hockey player who played for the 2013/14 season at ERC Ingolstadt in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga.

Career

Köppchen Patrick began his career in his hometown at the polar bear Berlin, where he went through all the youth teams. In 1997, the defender for a year in the Junior A league in the North American Development League WHL to Nepawal Manitoba. Then the links Sagittarius played one year for the Brown camp EHC / resin and two seasons with TSV Erding. In the 2000 /01 season Köppchen was also eligible to play by the production license for the Munich Barons in the DEL and got there first inserts. Köppchen was German champion in the 2009/10 season with the Hannover Scorpions. In 2011 he returned to the Freezers, where he played until the end of the 2012/13 season. Since the 2013/14 season, he is the ERC Ingolstadt under contract.

Internationally

At the Junior European Championship 1997 Köppchen his debut for a DEB selection. In subsequent years, he consistently ranks among the contingent of junior teams at major tournaments. For the senior team for the first time in 2002 the defender took part in a World Ice Hockey Championships and was since then the extended squad.
