Pomigliano d'Arco
Pomigliano d' Arco is a city with 39 934 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in Italy, in the province of Naples and the Campania region. The city is located northeast of Naples, near Mount Vesuvius.
The city is home to several plants of the automotive and aircraft industries.
Economy
In Pomigliano d' Arco, the Fiat Group maintains its research Elasis, also located on the outskirts of the city in 1972, built for the production of the work of Alfa Romeo Alfasud former, where the Alfa GT, 147 and 159 were manufactured. Currently, the Fiat Panda is produced there. Furthermore, there is on-site works of the air and space companies Alenia Aeronautica and Avio.
