Raimund Hörmann
Raimund Hörmann ( born May 27, 1957 in Ulm ) is a retired German rower.
Together with Dieter Ulmer Wiedenmann and the two Ingelheimern Michael Dürsch and Albert Hedderichstraße he made the West German sculls. 1979 and 1982 the team was runner-up, each behind the boat from the GDR. 1983 won the West German occupation the world title against the GDR. The highlight of the career was his victory in the quadruple sculls at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
Hörmann is 2.Vorsitzender the Ulm rowing clubs " Danube". Today it operates as a master butcher own butcher's shop and is the supreme master of the butchers' guild Ulm.
His son Raimund Hörmann Junior rowed until recently also successful for the U23 Junior National Team.
