Robert Grassin

Robert Grassin ( born September 17, 1898 in Le Mans, † June 26, 1980 in Gien ) was a French cyclist and World Champion.

Robert " Toto " Grassin was a professional racing driver from 1921 to 1940, after the Second World War, he tried a brief comeback. In his first year as a pro, he won the road race " Criterium of Aiglons " in Paris; In 1922 he took part in the Tour de France, but had to retire early. In 1924 he became French Champion of the uprights, the year after world champion. In the track world championships 1930 he finished third in the posts.
