Rohrbach (Weimarer Land)

Rohrbach is a municipality in the northern part of the Weimar area and part of the joint management Nordkreis Weimar.

Location

In the farming area north of Weimar behind the Etter Mountain is located in the Thuringian basin of the place Rohrbach. He's transport network is accessible via local roads from the state road 85. To the east is the neighboring village Oberreißen. Pfiffelbach also located nearby.

History

The farming village was first mentioned in 1248. And situated in the place Well served during the GDR era of research, and the farmers also went the way of the East German agriculture.
