San Giorio di Susa

San Giorio di Susa ( in Piedmontese San Gieuri, Franco-Provençal San Gœri, French Saint- Joire ) is a municipality with 1045 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the Italian province of Turin (TO ), Region Piedmont.

San Giorio di Susa is a member of the mountain commune Comunità Montana Bassa Valle di Susa and Val Cenischia. The municipality consists of the villages Balma, Martinetti, Viglietti, Pognant, Grangia, Garda, Airassa, ADRIT and Città. The neighboring municipalities are Bruzolo, Chianocco, Bussoleno, San Didero, Villar Focchiardo, Coazze and Roure. The patron saint of the village is St. George.
