Sanguinetto

Sanguinetto is a Northeast Italian municipality ( comune ) with 4108 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the Province of Verona in the Veneto region. The municipality is situated approximately 31.5 kilometers south-southeast of Verona.

History

In Sanguinetto a Scaliger has been preserved from the 14th century. 1232 Sanguinetto was destroyed by the army of Mantua. Multiple, came as Sanguinetto the Republic of Venice, the village was attacked. 1483 by Ferrara, 1509 by the imperial armies and 1511 by the French, who destroyed the place.

In the 17th century, then the peculiar Chiesa della Rotonda was built.

Traffic

Sanguinetto is located on the former Strada Statale 10 Padana Inferiore (now a regional road ) between Mantua and Padua. The Sangui Netto's train station is on the railway line from Mantua to Monselice.
