Veronella
Veronella is a Northeast Italian municipality ( comune ) with 4857 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the Province of Verona in the Veneto region. The municipality is situated approximately 29 km east-southeast of Verona on Collettore Zerpano, a side channel of the river Adige. The northwestern border is the Alpione. Veronella is part of the Unione Comunale Adige Guà.
History
In ancient times there was an attachment called Castrum Leonis. 589 the area was destroyed by the so-called Rotta del Cucca, a flood of the river Adige.
