Some of these are: Assenza, Castelletto, Castello, Marniga, Magugnano ( capital of the province ), Pai, Borago and postage.

In the 12th century originated in Castelletto a convent that belongs to the order of the Little Sisters of the Holy Family today. That the Roman " brunzonium " still bears some traces of the past, one sees at a different church from the 14th century that one finds in Assenza.

Today Brenzone community is relatively young. It was merged gradually from the formerly independent places Castello, Mamiga, Castelletto and Prada in the 20th century. The remaining places Castello and Castelletto joined together in 1955 and named in 1958 in Brenzone order, from which two years later was finally Brenzone.
