Geography
Savigny- sur -Orge is located on the rivers Orge and Yvette, 20 kilometers south of Paris city center. The neighboring municipalities are Paray -Vieille -Poste in the north, Athis -Mons in the northeast, Juvisy -sur -Orge to the east, Viry -Châtillon in the southeast, Villemoisson -sur -Orge and Morsang -sur -Orge in the south, Epinay- sur -Orge in the southwest, Longjumeau to the west and Morangis in the northwest.
