He managed Lens Coming in Picardy for SC Amiens, was looking for a suitable replacement after the departure of his master goalkeeper Cyrille Merville and his colleagues goalkeeper but never used in the preseason Foussen Tangara. Complete the one found finally in Chabbert who brought it to the club on all 37 second division appearances, but failed due to an injury on the final day of the season, so not the entire season as a regular force, and then also had to pause for about six months. Then Chabbert was mainly used in the B- team game with operation in the fifth league and constantly tried it again a regular place in goal for the Northern French to fight. As this but mostly failed and the goalkeeper as the season progresses even a gash on his left knee drew upon that had to be sewn with twelve stitches, a renewed breakthrough for already reached in the years Goalkeeper was a distant memory. In order to gain match practice again, it was for the 2009/10 season to Belgium, where he obtained a loan agreement for the entire season, signed with Sporting Charleroi. So he came up with 19 Erstligaauftritte in Belgium, where he made his debut on August 2, 2009, the 2-1 home defeat against Club Bruges, then mainly acted as a regular force and mostly had to let the other go first goalkeepers from the spring. Instead, the top-flight club AS Monaco -actuated a surprising transfer before the start of the 2010/11 season, when he committed Chabbert as a substitute goalkeeper behind the young team player Stéphane Ruffier. Initially mainly in the B- team in the CFA in use, he was first off the bench in the 33rd round of the season as a substitute of Ruffier shortly before the end of championship. He made his debut here on May 1, 2011 game against AS Saint -Étienne ( 1:1) when he came to the lawn for half-time. Then Chabbert acted in a further three league games as number 1 in the gate, before he was replaced again on May 21, 2011 by Ruffier, who played from the beginning.
