Sébastien Chabbert ( born May 15, 1978 in Pau ) is a French football goalkeeper. Since 2010 he is at AS Monaco with gaming operations in Ligue 1, the top division in French football, under contract and also comes sporadically for their reserve team game in the fourth division operation CFA used.
Club career
Career start in Pau FC and AS Cannes
His active career began as a goalkeeper born in Pau in the department of Pyrénées- Atlantiques on the border with Spain in the spring of 1978 Chabbert youngsters is his home club, FC Pau, where he remained until the age of around 16 or 17 years. Permanent replacement at Lens
Even during the summer break before the season 1999/2000 a further change Chabberts was announced. While the professionals were runners-up Olympique Lyon the French league with only two points behind and thus qualified for the UEFA Champions League 2002/ 03 to Chabbert could fight no real place in the first team for the season 2002 / 03; Champions League bets remained there from also. Similarly, in the 2004/05 season, where he brought it but no professional league use, but next to two cup inserts with the team as Siebentplatzierter in the final standings of the Ligue 1 2004 /05 for the UEFA Intertoto Cup 2005 qualifying (along with Olympique Marseille ( 5 ) and AS Saint- Étienne ( 6 ) ). After he had celebrated with the team already in 2000 his debut in the Intertoto Cup and though it only just retired in the third round on the away goals rule, it was used in the UI Cup 2005 once again. Breakthrough at Amiens

Transfer to Monaco

National team career
In 1996, he won the U-18 national team of his native country, the U-18 European Championship on home soil.
