David Trezeguet 2012
He played from 2000 to 2010 for the Italian giants Juventus. His greatest strengths are the header game and the extreme coolness in front of goal. Michel Platini compared him once with Paolo Rossi and gave him the nickname Trezegol.

The son of Argentine footballer Jorge Trezeguet grew up in Argentina and played as a youth for Club Atlético Platense, a small club from Vicente López in the outskirts of Buenos Aires. In 1996, he was with the French U-19 European champion selection. He then moved to AS Monaco, with whom he made his breakthrough. In the first year he was with his former strike partner Thierry Henry French master.
In the 1998 World Cup in their own country Trezeguet was world champion with the French national team, defeating in the final the record title holders Brazil. David Trezeguet completed six of seven games and scored one goal.
Two years later, in 2000, he was engaged by Juventus, Italy 's most successful club, for about 22 million euros. In that year he became European Champion with France and shot in the final against Italy the golden goal in a 2-1 victory in France. In the seasons 2001/ 02 and 2002/ 03, he won the Italian championship with Juventus in each case and the Supercoppa Italiana. In 2002, David Trezeguet was also player of the year in Italy.
In the season 2002/ 03 was Trezeguet Juventus in the Champions League against AC Milan and awarded there in a penalty shootout the first penalty.
In 2006, Trezeguet part in the Football World Cup in Germany. In qualifying he had met once, but did not belong to the permanent staff. Only in the third group game he played from the beginning. The next game he was not used and came in the 100th minute of the World Cup final against Italy on the square. In the penalty shootout, he experienced a very bitter moment of his career: the only player he missed his kick, the ball bounced off the underside of the crossbar and bounced back onto the Spieldfeld, which Italy won his fourth world title.
The 2006/07 season he played with Juventus due to the manipulation scandal in which the club was involved in the series B. Despite the departure of many stars such as Gianluca Zambrotta, Fabio Cannavaro and Patrick Vieira Trezeguet remained his club in the second division faithful. He drove 15 Goals for direct re-emergence, but was nevertheless a contract extension until 2011 only at reduced rates.
In the 2007 /08 season he scored 20 goals in Serie A and was so behind his teammate Alessandro Del Piero ( 21 goals ) Second of the scoresheet. Despite this performance, he was not appointed by French coach Raymond Domenech in France squad for the 2008 European Championship. In September 2008, David Trezeguet had after an injury he had suffered in the Champions League match against Zenit St. Petersburg, to undergo surgery on both knees and therefore sidelined for four months.
In the 2009/10 season, Trezeguet played after his long injury lay-off again an important role in the team, scoring goals regularly.
The contract between David Trezeguet and Juventus was terminated by mutual agreement on 28 August 2010. Three days later his move to the Spanish first division promoted Hércules CF was officially where the Frenchman signed a two -year contract.
On 30 August 2011, the attackers moved to Abu Dhabi for the club Baniyas SC. Due to a lengthy Knierverletzung to Trezeguet agreed in November with the club on a contract.
December 16, 2011 Trezeguet then moved to the Argentine second division club tradition and CA River Plate. At this club he has a great attachment, since he grew up in a suburb of Buenos Aires.
