Segusino

Segusino is a Northeast Italian municipality ( comune ) with 1925 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Treviso in Veneto. The community is located about 35 kilometers northwest of Treviso, near the Piave and directly borders the province of Belluno.

History

Segusino is one of the sites of Neanderthals. 983 the village was first mentioned by the Bishop of Vicenza.

Community partnerships

Segusino maintains partnerships with the Mexican community Chipilo, Puebla State ( since 1982) and with the French town of Saint -Jory in the Haute- Garonne.
