Colle Umberto

Colle Umberto ( Venetic: Cole Unbèrto ) is a Northeast Italian municipality ( comune ) with 5199 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Treviso in Veneto. The community is located about 31.5 kilometers north-east of Treviso, between the Grand Umberto and the Canale Castelletto

History

Near the hamlet of San Martino, the Battle of Vittorio Veneto between Austria -Hungary and Italy took place in October / November 1918, which ended with the defeat of Austria - Hungary in the First World War.
