Serge Baguet

Serge baguettes ( born August 18, 1969 in Opbrakel ) is a former Belgian cyclist.

Career

Baguettes in 1991 at the Belgian team Lotto cyclist. There he went four years before he moved to Flanders in 2002. He won in the five years stages in the Tour de Limousin, at the Tour of Britain and Classica Sabanagino. Then he ended his career prematurely, and worked as a roofer.

In 2000 he continued his career again with lottery proceeds and a year later he celebrated his biggest success with a stage win in the Tour de France. In the following years, he landed several times in the top ten, he was second in Kuurne -Brussels- Kuurne and the GP Ouest France- Plouay. 2005 he won two stages in the Ruta del Sol and was later Belgian champion in the road race. In the years 2006 and 2007 he rode for the Belgian ProTour team Quick · Step - Innergetic. At the end of the 2007 season baguettes ended his cycling career.
