Sermide

Sermide ( German: Freiburg on the path) is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 6227 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Mantua in Lombardy. The community is located about 44 kilometers southeast of Mantua on the Po. Sermide directly borders the provinces of Rovigo, Ferrara and Modena. Since 1898, the community holds the title Città (City).

Traffic

Passing through the municipality, the former State Road 496 Virgiliana (now the provincial road ). The station of the municipality lies on the railway line Suzzara - Ferrara.
