Southern Tagalog

Southern Tagalog is a former district of the Philippines. It included the provinces of Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon, Aurora, Oriental Mindoro and Occidental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon and Palawan, the island province.

By Executive Order 103, signed by President Gloria Macapagal- Arroyo, the District IV was shared with effect from 17 May 2002, the districts of CALABARZON (IV -A) and MIMAROPA (IV -B). The Aurora Province has been through the same decision assigned to the District III, Central Luzon.
