Stožice, Bohemia

Stožice ( German Stoschitz ) is a municipality with 278 inhabitants ( 1 January 2004) in the Czech Republic. It is 441 m above sea level 2 km southwest of the town Vodňany and belongs to the Okres Strakonice.

The village was first mentioned in 1416 and belonged to the rule Vodňany.
