Tomas Hertl
Tomáš Hertl (* November 12, 1993 in Prague) is a Czech ice hockey player on the position of the center. Since June 2013 he is with the San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League contract.

Career
Hertl began his career with HC Slavia Prague and went through there all the junior sections. In the season 2010/11 he first came for Slavia's professional team in the highest Czech League Extraliga used. From the following season, he belonged to the tribe squad Slavia Prague. He scored 25 points scorer in 38 games and was awarded following the season as Extraliga Rookie of the Year. NHL Entry Draft 2012, he was selected in the first round at 17th overall position of the San Jose Sharks. In the 2012/13 Extraliga season Hertl was with 18 goals and a total of 30 points from 43 games scored scorer leading scorer and points scorer of the HC Slavia Prague.
On June 3, 2013 Hertl signed an entry-level contract with the San Jose Sharks. On October 3, 2013 he played his first NHL game, where he gave an assist. The first NHL goal of his career, he scored in the game on October 5 against the Phoenix Coyotes, it was also the game -winning goal. On October 8, 2013 he scored in the game against the New York Rangers in his third NHL game four goals. Overall, Hertl scored in October 2013 in 13 games 8 goals and 11 total points scorer, and he was honored as NHL rookie of the month.
Internationally
Tomáš Hertl represented his native country for the first time with the Czech national team at the U18 World Youth Championship in 2011 and in six games, scoring one goal. In the U20 World Junior Championships in 2012 and 2013, he scored at both tournaments each five points in six games and finished at the end with his team in fifth place.
His first try for the Czech Republic men's team had Hertl during the World Cup in 2013, when no point and he stayed medal success in eight games.
