Třebušín

Třebušín ( German Triebsch ) is a municipality in Okres Litoměřice, Czech Republic. It is 8.5 km northeast of the city Litoměřice ( Leitmeritz ) in rechtselbischen part of the Bohemian Uplands.

Geography

The village in the valley of Lanabaches is dominated in the north of the 536 m high rocky outcrop of phonolite Kalich ( chalice mountain ) with the remains of the medieval castle chalice. Southeast is the 451 m high Trojhora ( Three mountain). At the pond in the south Machčák Třebušíns a camping and outdoor pool was created. Today, the castle is the Castle Hotel Hubertus. The village is characterized by Bohemian Umgebindehäusern.

To the west of the district Řepčice (beet Dörfel ), the 594 m high Panna ( Panna, also virgin), are also found on the remains of a castle. Northeast of Litomerice ( Kutlitz ), the 435 m high rises Litýš ( Litaisch ). Also, this spur of the Geltschbergmassivs was once crowned by a castle, but little of which has been preserved.

History

The place Trebusici was probably founded before 1050. From a deed dated 1257, which is a copy of an original from 1050, shows that at that time there were already a monastery of St. John and a monastery church. Owner of the place was since 1169 the castellan of Leitmeritz, Bleh of Trebussen, a relative of Hroznata of Ovenec and ancestor of Slavata of Chlum and Košumberk. The Magnate Blehs was in Triebsch. Hroznata himself owned Pitsch Schukowitzgasse and Plahow, his brother Hroznata Crispus was the owner of Ploschkowitz. After 1197 the German Order of Knights took over the seat of power, which was part of the 1288 Coming Pitsch Schukowitzgasse. The importance of Triebsch was that the place at that time Zittau important way, a trade route from Leitmeritz to Zittau was. 1496 was Johann von Wartenberg owner of Triebsch. In his family the place remained until 1540. 1575 died the next owner, Ulrich Dubansky of Duban, which is why the Good Triebsch was again detached from Ploschkowitz and came into the possession of Ulrich Hostakowsky of Arklebitz. 1600 died from this noble family and Triebsch passed to the Kaplirz de Sulewicz.

After the Battle of the White Mountain possession of Emil de Kaplirz Sulewicz was expropriated on June 21, 1621 and sold to Dr. Paul Wenzelius of Bochau. During the Thirty Years' War Protestant Swedish troops invaded and destroyed the castle. 1649 gathered a plague almost the entire population then. The first village school was established in 1660 and for all children of the village compulsory education was introduced. It was considered a model for all Bohemian village schools. In 1680 the rule Triebsch came by marriage to Francis Charles Kressl of Qualtenberg. The dean and later Bishop of Leitmeritz, Ferdinand Kindermann, was in the same year with the financial support Kressls in Triebsch build a new, larger school building.

1710 was built to plans by Octavio Broggio the new palace, which was surrounded by the baroque-style palace garden. The squire Baron Qualtenberg built the baroque St. Nicholas Church at the site of an earlier building from 1352. It was in 1724 supplemented by the small chapel, which was dedicated to St. John Nepomuk. The parish office from 1713 is also built in the Baroque style. In the square in front of the castle a decorated with a cross pillar was erected in 1726. 1802 came Triebsch by inheritance into the possession of the Barons of Puteani and from 1913 through sale to the Männel family. 1873 burned in a large fire the neighboring goblet in large part down.

The residents of Triebsch lived mainly from agriculture and the cultivation of fruit and hops. Ever since the end of the 19th century Triebsch was a summer resort in 1890 and 540 inhabitants. In 1928 the incorporation of the village chalice was made.

The municipality consists of the villages Dolni Třebušín Týnec ( Niedertenzel ), Horni Týnec ( Obertenzel ), Litomerice ( Kutlitz ) Řepčice (beet Dörfel ) and Třebušín ( Triebsch ), at the same time also form Katastralbezirke. Basic settlement units are Dolni Týnec, Horni Týnec, Litomerice, Řepčice, Třebušín and Všeradiště ( Wscheratsch ). To Třebušín also the residential places Domky pod Trojhorou include ( Dreiberghäusel ) Kalich ( chalice ), Peklo ( Pöckel ) and Zababeč ( Sababsch ).
