Trevor Lewis

Trevor Lewis ( born January 8, 1987 in Salt Lake City, Utah ) is an American professional ice hockey player standing since 2007 with the Los Angeles Kings in the National Hockey League under contract and also for their farm team, the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League plays.

Career

Trevor Lewis began his career as a hockey player with the Des Moines Buccaneers, where he was active from 2004 to 2006 in the United States Hockey League. He was then selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 2006 in the first round as the 17th overall player of the Los Angeles Kings. For the 2006/07 season, the attacker moved to Owen Sound Attack in the Canadian Junior Football League Ontario Hockey League, where he came in parallel to ten appearances for the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League. In the 2007 /08 season the former youth international was solely for the Monarchs in the AHL on the ice, for which he scored twelve goals in 80 games and had 16 assists. In the 2008 /09 season he made his debut in the National Hockey League for the Los Angeles Kings. In his first NHL game time the Americans scored a goal in six games and had two assists.

Internationally

For the U.S., Lewis took part in the U20 Junior World Cup 2007, where he finished in third place with his team.
