Jarret Stoll

Jarret Stoll (born 24 June 1982 Melville, Saskatchewan ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is currently with the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League contract.

Career

The 1.85 m wide center played during his youth for his home team in Melville and then moved to Yorkton where he met with the Yorkton Bantam AAA won the Western Canadian Championship in 1997. He also played for the St. Paul's Elementary School and Sacred Heart High School. In the 1997/98 season the right shooter was the first time for the Edmonton Ice in the Canadian top junior league WHL on the ice, even after the relocation of the franchise to Cranbrook he was still a member of the WHL roster of the team that now under the name Kootenay Ice aground. In his third season at the Ice Stoll was appointed team captain, in this capacity, he led the team to win the Memorial Cup in 2002 and thus to the Canadian Junior Championship.

After his last junior season Stoll has been selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 2002 as 36th in the second round by the Edmonton Oilers.
