Mike Richards

Michael " Mike" Richards ( born February 11, 1985 in Kenora, Ontario ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player. Since June 2011, he played with the Los Angeles Kings in the National Hockey League on the position of the center.

Career

Richards began his career in 2001 at the age of 16 Kitchener Rangers in the Ontario Hockey League. After being selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 2003 as 24th in the first round by the Philadelphia Flyers, he remained until the end of the 2004/05 season in Kitchener.
