Valle de Juárez is a municipality in the Mexican state of Jalisco in the Región Sureste. The municipality had the Census 2010 5.798 inhabitants; the area of ​​the Municipalities is 195.8 km ². Until 1911 was the name of the Municipalities of Valle de Mazamitla.

Greatest place in the municipality and administrative headquarters is the same name Valle de Juárez. Another places with at least 500 inhabitants exists with Paso de Piedra. The municipality comprises a total of 39 villages.

The municipality borders the San Gabriel Municipalities Quitupan, Santa María del Oro, Tamazula de Gordiano and Mazamitla as well as to the state of Michoacán.

The municipality lies at an average of about 1800 m altitude. More than 70% of the municipality is forested, about 14 % is used for agriculture.
