Volpiano
Volpiano is a municipality with 15,178 inhabitants (as of 31 December 2012) in the Italian province of Turin (TO ), Region Piedmont.
The municipality consists of the villages Cascine Di Malone and Volpiano. The neighboring municipalities are San Benigno Canavese, Lombardore, Chivasso, Leinì, Brandizzo and Settimo Torinese. The patron saint of the place is Santissimi Pietro e Paolo.
Geography
The village lies at an altitude of 219 m above sea level. The municipality covers an area of 32 km ².
Special
In Volpiano the Italian sports and racing car manufacturer Osella was 1970-1991 resident, who took eleven years among other things in Formula 1.
