Waremme ( Walloon Wareme, Dutch Borgworm ) is a francophone Belgian town in the Walloon Region. It is located in the province of Liège and is the capital of the eponymous Belgian arrondissements. Waremme has 14,769 inhabitants ( 1 January 2012) and an area of 31.04 km ².
Liege is 23 kilometers (km) east-southeast, Namur 36 km south-west and the Belgian capital, Brussels, 64 km north-west.
Waremme has its own motorway exit on the Belgian motorway A3/E40, another is located 11 km south at Villers -le- Bouillet on the A15/E42. The city has a regional railway station on the railway line Brussels -Liège; in Liege keep on regional express trains as uA Thalys on the connecting Paris / Oostende - Liege -Aachen - Cologne. The nearest regional airport Liège Airport is Bierset near the town of Liege, is at Brussels International Airport Zaventem.
