Zemgus Girgensons

Zemgus Girgensons ( born January 5, 1994 Riga, Latvia) is a Latvian ice hockey player standing since 2012 with the Buffalo Sabres of the National Hockey League contract. The center is equipped with the 14 position of the highest they drafted Lettering NHL Entry Draft. He also plays for the national team of his country and participated with this at the 2013 World Cup.

Career

Youth

Zemgus Girgensons began his athletic training in the operated by former professional Edmunds Vasiļjevs " EVHS Edmund Vasilyev Hockey School " in Riga. In 2009 he moved to the United States and played from then on for the Green Mountain Glades in a junior league. The following year he moved to the Dubuque Fighting Saints in the USHL and arrived there in his first season at 49 points in 51 games, in which he won the Clark Cup with the team and took part himself at midseason All-Stars Game. Buffalo Sabres
