Roman Catholic Diocese of Carúpano
The diocese Carúpano (Latin: Dioecesis Carupaensis ) is a location in Venezuela Roman Catholic diocese based in Carúpano. It includes a part of the state of Sucre.
History
Pope John Paul II founded the diocese on 4 April 2000 with the Apostolic Constitution Plerique Sacrorum from a part of the territory of the Archdiocese of Cumana, where it was assumed as a suffragan.
