1928 World Snooker Championship

The Snooker World Championship 1928 took place at various venues during the season. The final was played in May 1928 in the Camkins Hall in Birmingham, England.

There were only 6 participants all be permitted to take the challenge assumptions in the final against Joe Davis, Davis did not play in the Vorfinalrunden. He successfully defended his title from last year for the first time.

The Australian Frank Smith was the first non-European participants at the World Championships.
