1992 World Wrestling Championships
The Wrestling World Championships 1992 took place from 4 to 5 September 1992, Villeurbanne instead. Because of the Olympics in the same year only Women's competitions were held. The wrestlers were subdivided into nine weight classes. From the Japanese athletes who had gone to the start, only -65 kg missed Mariko Shimizu in fifth place finisher in the weight class a medal rank. The two German participants Michaela place in the weight category -57 kg and Sandra Schrenker in the weight category -61 kg respectively occupied ninth place.
