2010 Tirreno–Adriatico
The 45th Tirreno- Adriatico cycling race was held to 16 March 2010 of 10. It resulted in seven stages over a distance of 1274 kilometers. The race is part of the UCI World Calendar 2010.
Both the first- and second-placed reported at the end of the last stage in the same time. Garzelli was in the two intermediate sprints the last leg of each third, one second got time bonus and was able to catch up on Scarponi. According to the rules of the race, the placements of the two rivals were added, which Garzelli had clearly exhibit with 152 to 183 against Scarponi better placements. Thus, the victory went in the individual competition at the Italian Stefano Garzelli.
