2011 Korea Open Super Series Premier
The Korea Open Super Series 2011 took place in Seoul from 25 to 30 January 2011. It was the 20th edition of the Korea Open and the second tournament of the BWF Super Series 2011. Prize money amounted to 1,200,000 dollars, making it the highest that has ever been awarded in a badminton competition. Main sponsor of the tournament was VICTOR. 350 players from 25 countries participated in the tournament, which was broadcast by SBS ESPN on TV.
