2013–14 FIS Nordic Combined World Cup

The World Cup season 2013/14 Nordic Combined began on November 30, 2013 in Kuusamo and ended on March 16, 2014 in Falun. The highlight of the season was the XXII. Olympic Winter Games from 12 to February 20, 2014 in Sochi, Russia, where the three competitions of the Nordic combined were held in Krasnaya Polyana.

One innovation was the Nordic Combined triple, which was played for the first time in the Summer Grand Prix under the name Weekend Challenge. Three races were held on a weekend, the field of participants was reduced in the second competition on the top 50 and for the last competition with two passes while jumping on the top 30 and their points and were taken over time differences for the startup sequence and the total score of the weekend (analogous to the Four Hills Tournament ). At the end of this climax of the World Cup standings, which was held in Seefeld in Tirol, was the one overall winner, who happened first to the finish line of the final 15 -kilometer run.
