2013 Hungarian Grand Prix
The Grand Prix of Hungary 2013 ( official Formula 1 Magyar Nagydíj 2013) took place on 28 July at the Hungaroring in Mogyoród and was the tenth race of the Formula 1 season 2013.

Background
After the Grand Prix of Germany Sebastian Vettel led the drivers' championship with 34 points ahead of Fernando Alonso and 41 points ahead of Kimi Raikkonen. Red Bull -Renault resulted in the constructors' championship with 67 points ahead of Mercedes and 70 points ahead of Ferrari.
Lotus decided to commemorate this Grand Prix with a special paint Heckflügelendplatte of the victims of the railway accident at Santiago de Compostela.
At the Hungarian Grand Prix put Pirelli riders the tire compounds P Zero medium ( white) and P Zero soft (yellow) as well as for wet Cinturato Intermediates (green) and Cinturato Full Wets (blue ) are available. It involves new developments of the tire compounds that had come for the first use in the Young Driver Days before the Grand Prix. The new tire compounds combine the hardness of the former 2013er tires with the basic structure of the 2012 tires. Originally Pirelli had planned to use the 2013er - tire mixtures hardware and media. However, this has changed with the redesign of the tires.
With Lewis Hamilton ( three times), Jenson Button (twice), Alonso, Raikkonen and Mark Webber ( once each ) were five former winners of this Grand Prix.
As race stewards acted Jose Abed ( MEX), Garry Connelly (AUS), Lajos Herczeg (HUN ) and Allan McNish ( GBR).
Training
In the first free practice Vettel was the fastest rider in front of Webber and Raikkonen. In this training Rodolfo González took over the Marussia by Max Chilton. In the second session, the Red Bull drivers were forward. Romain Grosjean was third. The drivers employed in this training mainly with the understanding of the new tire compounds.
The third free practice session was aborted prematurely. Shortly before the end lost Sergio Pérez in the twelfth curve control of his vehicle and slammed sideways into a tire wall. Esteban Gutiérrez even did not play due to an unscheduled engine change. Grosjean drove the fastest lap before Alonso and Pérez.
Qualifying
In the first segment of qualifying, Nico Rosberg achieved the fastest lap. The Marussia and Caterham pilots and Paul di Resta and Gutiérrez dropped out. In the second section Rosberg remained forward. The Williams driver, Jean- Éric Vergne, Button, Nico Hulkenberg and Adrian Sutil dropped out. In the third part of Hamilton put the fastest time and scored the third pole position in a row ahead of Vettel and Grosjean.
Race
Hamilton scored his first victory for Mercedes ahead of Raikkonen and Vettel. The pilots on the front positions applied to several different strategies.
