55th Venice International Film Festival
The 55th International Film Festival of Venice took place until September 13, 1998 by 3.
For the competition, the following jury was appointed Ettore Scola (Jury President), Hector Babenco, Šarūnas Bartas, Kathryn Bigelow, Reinhard Hauff, Danièle Heymann, Ismail Merchant, Luis Sepúlveda and Tilda Swinton.
