A.C. Monza Brianza 1912
The Associazione Calcio Monza Brianza 1912 ( Monza Brianza short AC ) is an Italian football club based in the Lombard city of Monza.
The club colors are red and white. As the stadium club serves Stadio Brianteo, it can accommodate 18,568 spectators. In the 2009/10 season, the club plays in Lega Pro Prima Divisione. As a training ground the association, the Centro sportivo Monzello, which is located in the north of the city of Monza serves.
History
Through a merger between Pro and Pro Italia Monza was 1913, Associazione Calcio Monza. Monza has played a total of 38 seasons in Serie B ( for the last time in the 2000 /01 season). It was never able to the club in the highest Italian league, Serie A, ascend. The AC Monza Brianza won the previous four sweeps of the Coppa Italia di Serie C, making it the record cup winners in this competition. Biggest international success in 1976 was the victory in the Anglo- Italian Cup, as the Wimbledon FC were beaten 1-0 in the final. 2009, the club was bought by the Dutch international Clarence Seedorf. Are also involved in the purchase of the former Inter star Giuseppe Bergomi and Salvo Zangari, in his head of the firm reply. In April 2013, the club was taken over by the Anglo -Brazilian real estate developer Anthony Armstrong Emery.
